An Educators Night at the Magical Beatles Museum
March 5 @ 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Join us 5th March at 17.30pm, for an after hours viewing of the Magical Beatles Museum hosted by our Education Manager Paul Parry.
The newest and most authentic Beatles attraction in the city is inviting Educators and persons with an interest in the sector to see for themselves the potential the museum has to offer as a valuable resource base for subjects from all key stages including History, English, Art, Music, Media Studies and PSHE.
The Magical Beatles Museum contains over 300 authentic items from the Beatles’ early years through to 1970. The exhibition is spread across three floors of a Grade 2 listed building in Mathew Street, situated in the heart of Liverpool. It uses the instruments the Beatles played, the clothes they wore, the music they created and the generation they inspired to tell the story of the greatest band of all time.
We will also have our museum founder Roag Aspinall-Best joining us to give an informal talk about his vision to bring a Beatles museum to Mathew Street. As brother of Pete Best and son of Beatles tour manager Neil Aspinall (head of Apple Corps), Roag has a unique and long established connection to the Beatles.
Special booking rates will be available on the night to those attendees, with news of our exclusive up coming Art competition.
Wine and nibbles will be provided.
